Counter Strike New Revealed

After weeks of rumors Valve has finally announced Counter Strike new. It's an update to CS:GO that will put the game on the Source 2 engine and make some significant visual changes.

It also introduces sub-tick server update and responsive smoke grenades. It's made a lot armchair gamers crazy however, Case revolution it appears to be an upgrade for the average player.

Smokes

Counter Strike New has a huge update that will change the way smokes are used in the game. The changes, which are dubbed responsive smokes, are a game changer. Smokes will expand to fill in areas and move across the map in a variety of ways. They will also respond to the lighting in the games, making them look more real. Smokes will also interact with gameplay events. This will provide new tactical possibilities. For instance, bullets could force smoke to briefly make clear sightlines, while hex grenade explosions will disperse smoke occlusion.

The most significant change to smokes is that they will now be a more dynamic element of the game. In previous iterations, smokes were a fixed form that was limited in how far they could travel and how much vision it blocked. The new smokes will expand to cover the space they're in and block more of the player's vision when they are within the area. This is a major improvement that will make the game more dynamic and give both teams the same level of visibility.

In addition to this smokes are now able to react to the surroundings as well as weaponry and lighting in the world. This will make smoke more realistic and offer players to utilize it to gain an edge over their opponents. This will especially be beneficial in the chaotic 5v5 matches that are likely to occur on every map.

Smokes will also no longer be one-way that was a major problem in CS:GO and allowed players to see their opponent's location from behind the smoke. Twistzz is a well-known CS:GO professional, says the new system is a huge improvement for players in competitive CS2 and makes it more fair for both teams.

Other minor improvements include adjusting the position of smoke particles to prevent the visibility of edges and changing the smoke overlay visuals to match their camera position. The expiration time of smokes was updated to be in line with the visuals on the screen.

Loadouts

Players of CS:GO can now alter their weapon choices prior to the start of every match. The updated loadout system lets players to choose the weapons that best suit their playstyle and team's strategies. The new system adds depth to the game as players must balance the power of their weapons and their utility.

The CS: GO Update includes numerous other improvements and changes in addition to the new loadouts. The buy menu was completely redesigned. The old buy wheel has been replaced with a customizable grid that shows all available purchase options simultaneously. The grid is filled with five pistols and five "mid-tier weapons" like submachine guns, shotguns, and rifles.

The new system will be simple to use, and broken fang case give players more control over the weapon they choose. It will let them choose the weapons that suit their style of play and team tactics the best, as well to experiment with various combinations. It will also allow players to test their abilities against other players' loadouts and find out how they compare.

Many players have praised the increased flexibility while others have criticised it for straying from the core essence Counter-Strike. They also have raised concerns about how it will affect the specific loadouts for maps and agent skins dependent on visibility.

In spite of these criticisms the new loadout system will be tested more extensively in the coming months. Some of these issues could be addressed in future updates. It is essential to stay informed for more details.

Workshop Tools are also included in the update, Case shadow and can be enabled via the settings menu. This allows community contributors to design weapons finishes and stickers, as and maps. The update will also live ban players who break VAC guidelines in matches.

The new CS GO update is scheduled to be released in the coming summer. Players can now check out the complete list of features and updates by visiting the official CS: GO site.

Sub-Tick Updates

The world of Counter-Strike is constantly updated by the server in discrete time increments called ticks. The smallest gap between a tick and the mouse click of a player may have an impact on a shot's accuracy, so Valve is doing its best to make sure that CS: GO feels fluid and responsive. A new video reveals one of the game's biggest under-the-hood enhancements, also known as sub-tick updates.

Instead of a 64-tick update every millisecond CS:GO can now use sub-ticks, or as Valve calls them, "micro ticks", to communicate with servers. Each of these small increments of time will be recorded by the client and transmitted to the server, which then send back the updated game state to players. The servers will now know exactly moment that you shot your shot, jumped, peeked and other inputs.

The video does not cover everything. However, it does explain that each piece of data sent by the client is accompanied by a time stamp and Case Shadow that the server will collect all the data in chronological order from all players prior to sending it back. According to the video it is believed that a CS: GO server will now be able to send up to twice as much data as a 64-tick servers.

This means that even the tick rate of the game is increased to 128 Hz, it will still be able to handle your commands instantly. Micro-tick updates also decrease input lag by ensuring that the server responds to your actions without any glitches or delays.

This is clearly only the beginning of the technical enhancements Valve is making to the game. Valve is currently implementing dynamic smoke and particle systems to improve the way smoke interacts with the environment and is updating all maps with high-resolution lighting, textures and models. Source 2 tools and features will be used to make changes to all CS: GO cosmetics and weapons.

Maps

The coming update for Counter Strike New will bring new maps to the game, alongside some classics that are getting facelifts. The updates are being tested in limited beta. The first set of updates includes an upgrade and touchstone map that will not see major changes in gameplay, whereas other maps have been completely renovated or redesigned using the new Source 2 Tools.

Overpass is one of these maps that has been modified to make use of the new engine's unified illumination system. The map's dark underground has been flooded with daylight, making it more spacious and less congested. Smoke grenades have expanded dynamically in order to fill spaces, and interact with the light.

Another map that's been overhauled is Italy and has undergone an overhaul in texture, lighting and structure. The new version is more balanced than the predecessor which was heavily CT-oriented. Fans can anticipate a few more classics, including Aztec and Militia, to be revamped in the future.

While many of these maps are still playable in other modes, they're not being added to the competitive map pool. The exception is Train which was removed from Active Duty and will continue to be played in tournaments. Valve hasn't yet announced if the other maps that were taken will be reintroduced to the pool.

Among the more controversial updates is one created by Helsingin Sanomat, Finland's national newspaper. The newspaper has been vocal in its critique of Russia's actions in Ukraine. This map is based off of the conflict-ravaged Donetsk. The map is dubbed de_voyna and includes a number references to the conflict.

In the near future, the developer will be releasing a set Source 2 tools for community map makers to utilize in their own designs. This will include features like improved lighting and character read, as well as a physically based rendering system that creates realistic textures, materials and reflections. It will also make it easier to implement real-world objects, like windows and doors. The update will be released sometime in the summer.
